Jesus allowed Himself to be helped and loved

Jesus, in His humility, allowed His feet to be washed, accepted help in carrying His cross, and entrusted the care of His mother to another. In doing so, He revealed that true strength embraces love and allows itself to be loved. We were created for this—woven into a community of grace. Yet, when we became aware of our nakedness, we sought coverings that could never truly clothe us. Our true covering is not in what we fashion for ourselves but in the righteousness and love of our Father.
